At their regular meeting held on April 22, 2013, the Board of Education of Gouverneur Central School District approved a calendar adjustment to the 2012-2013 school calendar to include the following give back snow days: May 24 and May 28 for all students and 10-month employees; and June 21 for students only (all staff will report).

The following letter should have been received home. Please feel free to read through a note of safety written by our Superintendent.

We are pleased to report that the 2013-2014 School Budget PASSED with 274 voting Yes and 72 voting No.

The students, staff, and Board of Education of Gouverneur Central School district would like to sincerely thank all the community members who came out to vote. We would also like to welcome Lisa McGregor to the school board. Ms. McGregor was elected to a three-year term along with incumbents Barry Smith and Laurie Roberts. Congratulations!
